About us

Subula is my little art store for cards, wall art, and paper goods, all designed and illustrated by me. Nothing here is mass-produced. Every piece starts as a sketch on my desk before it becomes something you can send, keep, or hang on your wall.

My dad has always come home from his travels with the loveliest stationery, ever since I was little. After one of his trips to Fiji, I heard the word “Bula”, meaning welcome or hello, and somehow it stuck. Paired with “Su”, meaning good or auspicious, Subula was born, right around the same time as my lifelong dream of having my own card store.

Before this, I ran Ninegram, a premium stationery store built around one-of-a-kind designs, each piece an original. That love for illustration and handwritten notes never left, it just found a new home here, with room to grow into wall art too.
